Peters found guilty of all charges

Christopher Peters could be facing life in prison after been found guilty of killing 15 month old Hayden Ivan Ridinger 

A Van Wert County jury finds 27 year old Christopher Peters guilty of Aggravated Murder, Felonious Assault and Endangering Children.   Peters could be facing a maximum sentence of life in prison on the murder charge and a possible 8 years each for the other charges.  Peters will be sentenced next month.

The verdict wraps up a week long trial, where prosecutors presented the jury with evidence that that Peters beat Ridinger and the 15 month old boy died from those injuries.  The defense claimed that Ridinger death was the result of an overdose of Benadryl. The boy's mother Valerie Dean will be facing a jury in December on Involuntary Manslaughter charge and Endangering Children charge in her son's death.
