Preschoolers at Golden Bridge Academy celebrated one of their favorite authors on Friday.
They held a birthday party for Dr. Seuss. All week they have been reading his books which educators say a good thing for the young students.
"Dr. Seuss is a really fun way for them to get into books and learn reading and the rhyming words and all the patterns that go with reading," said Amy Briggs, preschool teacher.
This year marks Dr. Seuss's 115th birthday.
