Health Partners is expanding their Quick Care Clinic with a new building, new staff, and more services.
The Quick Care Clinic in Lima opened two years ago, and since then, they see about one thousand patients a month. Janis Sunderhaus, CEO of Health Partners, says Lima is a medically under-served area, and because of this they are expanding. The new clinic was built just next door to the original clinic, and it will offer pediatricians, adult medical services, behavioral health services and a full pharmacy. They are hoping that with the expansion they will be able to offer patients a one stop shop service.
"We take care of anyone who needs us and that includes people who are not insured and we base it on how much they make. We take Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance. So everyone is welcomed. Many people come and they think we are only for a certain group of people but that's not true, we take care of whoever needs us" says Sunderhaus.Â
Sunderhaus says the new clinic will be open to the public on December 6th.Â
