Friday evening, the long anticipated Rally in the Square kicked off in the heart of downtown Lima, but with some changes.Â
ArtSpace/Lima, who hosts the rallies every year, says that they're trying to make it more of a festival-like atmosphere with food carts from both local and out of town vendors, while keeping the same variety of beverages and music. The goal - bringing in a younger crowd while keeping the regulars entertained - and to help ArtSpace continue to be a part of downtown Lima.
The rally will continue every Friday until August 25th.
