LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) – Rhodes State College nursing students will showcase what they’ve learned in the classroom by presenting their capstone projects at a health and wellness fair on Thursday, March 20, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
The event, which runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lima Memorial Welcome Center, will offer students the opportunity to raise awareness about critical health issues while gaining real-world experience. By engaging with the public on various health topics, students will practice skills they will need in their future nursing careers.

The fair will offer students the opportunity to raise awareness about critical health issues while gaining real-world experience.
“This is a good opportunity for the students to really re-enforce what they have learned in the classroom. Interact with the community and practice some of those real-world skills. These projects are capstone projects, kind of the big final presentations they do to be able to graduate,” says Josh Froehlich, Chief Nursing Officer at Lima Memorial Health System.
The fair is free and open to the public, providing valuable information on a wide range of health-related topics.
