If you thought today was just another snowy Wednesday, the residents of one local city beg to differ.
Over 200 Delphos residents gathered this afternoon for the 3rd Annual Run Your Ashes Off 5k Race at the St. John's Annex.
The event helped kick off the season of Lent the right way by hosting a prayer service and distribution of ashes followed by a 3.1 mile race through town in the bitter cold and snow.
For the Delphos Booster Club though, holding this event means everything.
Odenweller went on to say that all the proceeds of the race went to the St. Vincent DePaul Society to help those in need in the community.
