Semi rollover on U.S. 30

The mix of sleet, snow, and ice causing problems on area roads Monday morning.

Just after 8 o'clock Monday morning, a semi traveling east on U.S. 30, spun 180 degrees, slid into the median, and rolled over on its side, dumping a load of tires it was carrying. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the driver's speed and the road conditions were factors in the accident. Both the driver and the passenger were taken to Mercy Health St. Rita's with minor injuries. It took a couple of hours to clean up the accident.
