A Shawnee teacher has been indicted on felony charges by an Allen County Grand Jury.
48-year-old Vincent Deluca is facing three charges: one count of burglary, one count of grand theft of a motor vehicle, and one count of operating a vehicle under the influence.
The indictment came after an incident on March 10th. Just before 1 a.m. Deluca entered a home unlawfully in the 6800 block of Fort Amanda Road and had a verbal confrontation with the resident before leaving on foot. A short time sheriff deputies found Deluca his home on West Breese Road along with a vehicle that was stolen from another residence on Fort Amanda.
According to a Shawnee School District official, Deluca was placed on unpaid administrative leave.
