News Release On Behalf of Shawnee Township Police Department
On 9/4/18 the Shawnee Township Police Department conducted underage alcohol sale compliance checks on local businesses. Â
Officers used a twenty-year-old police academy cadet in an attempt to purchase alcohol at the following establishments:
Shawnee Fuel Stop
Dollar General
Rite Aid Pharmacy
CVS Pharmacy
Short Stop Drive Thru
Low Bobs
BP Fuel Station
The Pony Keg
We are pleased to report that all establishments checked the person's ID and all businesses refused to sell alcohol to the underage person.
