Shawnee Township Police Department receives grant from Marathon Corporation’s Community Investment Program

Press Release from the Shawnee Township Police Department: The Shawnee Township Police Department is excited to announce that we have been awarded a $5,000.00 grant from the Marathon Corporation’s Community Investment Program. The funds will be utilized to purchase each officer a Trijicon Red Dot Optic for their department issued duty weapon. This is a growing trend in our profession, as numerous studies have demonstrated it promotes better performance and enhanced accuracy for officers.
