Sheriff Treglia speaks for first time since Crish's indictment

Allen County Sheriff Matt Treglia sat down with Your Hometown Stations on Tuesday following Monday's indictment of former county sheriff Sam Crish.

Treglia told us the FBI didn't keep the sheriff's office up to date during the 21-month investigation but added they didn't need to. He said he was contacted by the U.S. attorney on the case the same time as the media about Monday's announcement. According to the indictment, it was discovered Crish's activities began in 2012. He is facing three counts of soliciting a bribe, two counts of extortion, and one count of making a false statement to the FBI.

Crish pleaded not guilty to all six counts, in federal court, on Monday.
