With the first day under their belts, leaders and volunteers say it feels great knowing they are making a difference.

"This is really exciting," Laurie Camper, Public Relations Director for "Spread the Love." "I counted, or I googled the number of days- it was 176 days ago that we to Marion, Ohio and looked at a program that is in operation there. Less than 6 months later, we're out here with our first day with sandwich distribution knowing that we're helping some kids who are hungry after school. It feels great. We all were kind of dancing to the "Peanut Butter and Jelly" song a little bit, feels great to be out here helping people."

Camper says the free meal deliveries will continue on Fridays until school is out for the summer.
