April 22, 2024, Press Release from Heritage Trails Park District: Heritage Trails Park District invites you to explore the Dr. Elizabeth Yahl-Kuffner Nature Preserve on a spring wildflower hike!
Choose any day April 28th through May 12th to enjoy a self-guided nature hike along the beautiful wooded trails of Dr. Elizabeth Yahl-Kuffner Nature Preserve, located at 14840 County Road 66A, St. Marys. This 15.8 acre woodlot contains numerous species of Ohio’s native wildflowers, including the State of Ohio’s official wildflower, the Large-flowered Trillium. Interpretive signage will be located along the trail to help you identify the wildflowers you see first-hand. Invite a friend, hike at your own pace and learn as you go along.
