Summer Moon Fest up and running, rain or shine

If you're worried about rain putting a damper on your Summer Moon Fest plans, you may still be in luck.

Despite the gloomy weather, the festival is still on in downtown Wapakoneta. Crews were setting up the zip line for both Friday and Saturday. While the weather does prevent some things from going as planned, there are still plenty of things to do, rain or shine.

"With the bounce houses - if there’s high winds, we won’t set those up, so pretty much kid street and the market will probably have to shut down if we’ve got high winds, but food vendors are open, the bands are still scheduled to play, we’ve got tents down there, they’re covered, so as long as there’s no extreme weather, we'll be down here," said Melissa Carlin, Executive Director of the Wapakoneta Chamber of Commerce.

Summer Moon Fest continues on through July 22nd.
