The Salvation Army in need of volunteers and donations

As distribution day is fast approaching The Salvation Army is finding themselves short on items and volunteers to fill requests.

More than 650 bags are filled with toys, clothes, and other items but nearly another hundred bags need to be filled. Tables are getting bare and items for infants and teens are gone. Major Deb Stacy says they still have some "adopt a family" and collection locations to drop things off, but will it be enough? They are still going to accept donations up to Christmas Eve. Stacy says they are in desperate need of volunteers as they need to get the food boxes for distribution packed. They also are asking community organizations, families and individuals to help ring the bells through Christmas Eve.
