This partnership has been going on for over 30 years between Tom Ahl and the Salvation Army, and for both sides, it's always about making Christmas a merry one for the kids.
"It's become a tradition. We know that kids out there don't always get what they want or what they probably deserve, so it's a way of helping out kids in less fortunate circumstances, and it's just an honor to be able to help the kids and to be able to know that we contributed," said Shannon Nichols, Commandant, Marine Corps League Detachment 1063.

"What the Salvation Army does and the Marine Corps League, I just cannot believe. And we're just honored to be a part of it. But we want to see these kids have a Christmas, right? And it's all about Jesus, though, and that's why we love the Salvation Army being involved. Yeah, so we're excited, and the gift that God gave us is number one, but hopefully, these kids will enjoy Christmas with the toys they get," commented Tom Ahl, owner of Tom Ahl Family of Dealerships.
December 14, 2024, is the last day to drop new unwrapped toys in the Toys for Tots donation boxes, but you can still drop off your donated toys at the Salvation Army at their location on 614 East Market Street up until Christmas Day.
