Friday April 4, 2025

0044 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of West Main Street in the City of Van Wert to assist the Van Wert Police.

0122 hrs. – Deputies responded to a residence on East Raymond Street in the City of Van Wert to assist a motorist locked out of their vehicle.

0938 hrs. – Deputies responded to a residence on Middle Point Road in Ridge Township for a complaint of harassment.

1105 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of East Carmean Street in the Village of Ohio City to assist Municipal Court Probation.

1303 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of Rosemont Drive in the City of Van Wert for a report of two stray dogs.

1345 hrs. – Deputies assisted Juvenile Probation with an unruly juvenile.

1426 hrs. – Dispatched Convoy EMS to a residence on Wolfcale Road in Pleasant Township for a subject having an allergic reaction.

1437 hrs. – Deputies responded to a residence on South Main Street in the Village of Ohio City for a parking complaint.

2017 hrs. – Deputies responded to a location on Rockford Road in the Village of Willshire to assist a motorist locked out of their vehicle.

2100 hrs. – Deputies responded to area of U.S. Route 127 in Liberty Township for a report of reckless driving.

2126 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of U.S. Route 30 in Tully Township for a report of reckless driving.

2248 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of Hudson Street in the City of Delphos to assist the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Saturday April 5, 2025

0058 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of Fulton Street in the City of Van Wert to assist the Van Wert Police.

0538 hrs. – Dispatched Van Wert EMS to a location on Van Wert Decatur Road in the City of Van Wert for a subject with chest pain.

0945 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of U.S. Route 127 in Liberty Township for a report of a stray dog with injuries.

1003 hrs. – Deputies responded to area of Convoy Road in Tully Township for a report of high water.

1021 hrs. – Deputies along with Ohio City Fire to a residence on U.S. Route 224 in Pleasant Township for a report of a generator fire.

1107 hrs. – Deputies responded to a residence on Defiance Trail Road in Hoaglin Township for a complaint of two stray dogs on the property killing chickens.

1324 hrs. – Deputies responded to a residence on Van Horn Road in Tully Township to assist with an unruly juvenile.

1349 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of East Carmean Street in the Village of Ohio City for a complaint of an abandon vehicle.

1743 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of North Race Street in the City of Van Wert for a loose dog.

1923 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of Elm Street in the Village of Convoy to check an abandoned 911 call.

2228 hrs. – Deputies responded to a location on West Sycamore Street in the Village of Middle Point for a noise complaint.

2232 hrs. – Deputies responded to a residence on Railroad Street in the Village of Middle Point to assist a motorist locked out of their vehicle.

2256 hrs. – Deputies responded to a residence on Washington Street in the Village of Scott for a report of a domestic dispute.

Sunday April 6, 2025

0810 hrs. – Deputies along with Willshire Fire and Wren EMS responded to a report of an occupied vehicle stuck in high water on State Route 49 in Willshire Township.

1251 hrs. – Deputies spoke with a resident for a complaint of theft from a property location on U.S. Route 224 in Hoaglin Township.

1300 hrs. – Deputies served a warrant issued by Van Wert Municipal Court for Failure to Appear. Patrice Renee Kinnie age 34 of Paulding is being held at the Van Wert County Correctional Facility.

1336 hrs. – Deputies responded to a residence on Stephanie Lane in Pleasant Township to check an abandoned 911 call.

1338 hrs. – Deputies responded to a residence on Cable Street in the City of Van Wert to assist a motorist locked out of their vehicle.

1351 hrs. – Deputies responded to a residence on South Liberty Street in the Village of Ohio City for a complaint of theft.

1704 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of State Route 118 in Liberty Township for a report of a loose dog that was struck an injured.

1909 hrs. – Deputies served a warrant issued by Van Wert County Common Pleas Court for a Bond Violation.  Elizabeth Kay Hoersten age 40 of Delphos is being held at the Van Wert County Correctional Facility.

2049 hrs. – Deputies served a warrant issued by Van Wert County Common Pleas Court for a Bond Violation.  Adam J. Purdy age 49 is being held at the Van Wert County Correctional Facility.
