Sunday was the final day of the Arizona Commemorative Air Force's Flying Victory Tour stop in Lima. B-17 and B-25 bomber planes that had flown in World War II were on display for people to explore and ride. Inside, you could see the original guns and radios as well as photographs and signatures of World War II veterans, including those of the men who fought in the first air raid on Japan.

The planes themselves are incredibly rare. Only 3 functional B-17's and about 30 functional B-25's are left in the entire world. The planes are taken all around the country to give people a better understanding of what veterans went through and the technology they used to ultimately win the war.

There was also a car show that included pre-war civilian vehicles, military vehicles, and the Glass Society Corvette Club of Lima.

"The B-17 was the most iconic bomber of World War II, and along with the B-24, was really the backbone of the daylight precision bombing campaign of both the 8th and the 15th Air Forces. The B-25 was used by every allied power in every theater of combat and was probably the most versatile bomber of World War II," explained Mike Mueller, the financial officer of the Commemorative Air Force.
