An 8-year-old boy from Bluffton had the opportunity of a lifetime after winning the Armstrong Air and Space Museum’s “First Flight” contest. Hudson Warwick and his family traveled to Neil Armstrong Airport in New Knoxville, where he flew inside a 1928 Ford Tri-Motor airplane. It’s the same type of aircraft as Neil Armstrong first flew in as a young boy back in July 1936.
Perry High School students "elevating" their education as they prepare for the workforce. Rhodes State College visited with Perry students this week to conduct remote pilot training for 11th and 12th grade students. Once the training is concluded, the students will take a test to receive their remote pilot certification.

The Commemorative Air Force's Flying Legends of Victory Tour has made its way to the Lima area to showcase their restored World War II aircraft. Individuals there can climb into the B-17 flying fortress "Sentimental Journey" and B-25 Mitchell "Maid in the Shade" bombers. This once-in-a-lifetime experience allows people to not only tour the planes but an opportunity to go for a ride as well.
