A Waynesfield man has been arrested after he allegedly engaged in sexual conduct with a 14-year-old girl.
24-year-old Shane "Bub" Matthews Jr. of Waynesfield was arrested Monday on five felony counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. Additional charges are also pending in the case. Waynesfield police officials also believe there could be additional victims that could provide information in the case. Those victims or others who might have knowledge of other inappropriate involvement with minor children by Matthews are asked to contact Waynesfield police.
The Auglaize County Sheriff's Department and Children Services are assisting in the investigation.
