A former Lima Senior football player, who also played for Ohio State and played in the National Football League is fighting for his life against a disease in which there is no cure.
William White's life changed in October of 2016 after a routine medical exam showed he had Lou Gehrig’s Disease or ALS.
White appeared to be symptom free as he attended an event at The Met Thursday night.
Next month White will undergo a new treatment that will hopefully slow the progression of the disease.
