If you owe fines to the Findlay Municipal Court, there are now easier ways to pay those off.
This month the Municipal Court started using a new program so people can pay their fines online or over the phone. Judge Jonathan Starn says their old program cost between $1,500 and $2,000 a month, and they no longer have those fees with the new system.
You can still pay in person, but Judge Starn says the new system is much smoother. "You can make any kind of payment, fines, court costs, restitution, if you have a civil judgment that's been rendered against you you can make a payment on that, and the service can also be used if you've been arrested and you want to post bond, or you want to have somebody post bond on your behalf, all of those payments can now go through this service," said Judge Starn.
