The trial is underway for a 20-year-old man facing charges related to a shooting last summer at Bill’s Drive-Thru. Jeremiah Washington, 20, is currently charged with felonious assault and aggravated robbery. Both charges carry firearm specifications. In July 2024, Allen County deputies responded to Bill’s Drive-Thru after receiving reports of a shooting.
Jonathan Wheeler, 31, will be sentenced in March on the robbery charge.
The trial of Jonathan Wheeler, a 31-year-old man indicted on rape and aggravated robbery charges in Allen County, began Monday afternoon.
26-year-old Ishmael Jose Moya and 30-year-old Rudy Rico Moya Sr., both of Toledo, appeared for their arraignment meeting on Wednesday. It was ruled that their bond previously set at $500,000 would not change. A continuation on the arraignment hearing has been scheduled in both cases, with Ishmael appearing on January 26th and Rudy Moya Sr. appearing on January 19th.
John Morici faced Aggravated Robbery charges after prosecutors say he threatened a clerk at knifepoint, stating that he would "gut him like a fish". The incident occurred at a Dairy Mart in Allen County back in April of 2020. Morici has been sentenced to 4 to 6 years in prison.
Zyshon Stiggers is charged with aggravated robbery and felonious assault after police say he took part in robbing the Clark Gas Station on Bluelick Road in May of 2019. Stiggers was scheduled to appear for a Change of Plea hearing in Allen County Common Pleas Court on Wednesday. However, he was granted more time to make a decision on accepting a plea deal.
Law enforcement is on the lookout for a man who robbed a woman outside of a Dollar General in Columbus Grove. According to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office, the incident happened around 8:30 pm on Saturday night.
