The 2025 Allen Lima Leadership class explored the Ottawa River and learned about Allen County’s agricultural industry as part of its ongoing educational field trips.
The Allen Lima Leadership program celebrated its 2025 graduating class today — and officially welcomed the class of 2026.
The newest class of the Allen Lima Leadership program began its journey Friday to learn more about the region where participants live and work.
“We really chose the Lima Citizens Police Academy to really strengthen the relationship between our local law enforcement and our community,” said Samuel White Jr., project team lead for the class. “I believe there's a lot of negative perception around our police department, and so we really want to build that trust, that transparency with our police department with this academy.”
Allen Lima Leadership (ALL) celebrated its 35th anniversary tonight, marking more than three decades of developing the region’s future leaders. Past and present ALL alumni, along with area businesses and organizations, gathered to commemorate the milestone and its lasting impact on the community.
