Habitat for Humanity of Findlay/Hancock County will be repairing or replacing 25 roofs as a part of its 25th anniversary celebration during the coming months.

The City of Lima will be hosting some special visitors next week as they celebrate the 25th anniversary of being sister cities. The deputy mayor, representatives from the Department of Education, and the chief deputy of promotions of Harima Cho Japan will be visiting to get a feel of how local government works in the United States. They will be attending Monday night's city council meeting, and enjoying a dinner and sharing gifts on Tuesday.

They have been exchanging cultural, educational, and business ideas for many years, with this year being a special milestone. It has been 25 years since the City of Lima and Harimo-cho, Japan, signed an agreement to become sister cities. Since 1999, more than 300 people have participated in cultural exchanges. Both adults and students from both cities have had the privilege to experience life in the other sister city community. There will be several special guests at this year's celebration.
