A Lima woman has pleaded guilty in a government benefits fraud case.

Two people were arrested in Mercer County on drug-related charges. According to Sheriff Jeff Grey, deputies were called out to 6310 State Route 117 in Rockford for a domestic disturbance complaint. While investigating the scene, they found suspected evidence of drug use. Deputies then secured the scene and applied for a search warrant.
November 21, 2024, Press Release from the Mercer County Sheriff's Office: Celina, OH – Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey reports the arrest of an individual yesterday on drug related charges. On Wednesday, November 20th at 1:20 PM a deputy of the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Information obtained from the traffic stop lead to the application of a search warrant. Deputies were assisted by Mercer County Prosecutor Erin Minor in applying for the search warrant, which was later reviewed and granted by Celina Municipal Court Judge Kathryn Speelman.
September 19, 2024, Press Release from the Findlay Police Department, Hancock METRICH Drug Task Force: On 09/18/24 at approx. 2300 hrs. the Hancock County METRICH Drug Task Force assisted by the Findlay Police Department Emergency Response Team (ERT), and the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team (SRT) executed a narcotic search warrant at 404 Lester Ave., Findlay, Ohio. The search of the residence yielded 37.78 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 10.93 grams of suspected Fentanyl, Prescription Pills, and several items of drug paraphernalia. Other items indicative of drug trafficking and cash were also seized.
An arrest warrant has been issued for 59-year-old Juan Fuentes on the charge of felonious assault. Police say he used an edge weapon to stab 53-year-old Catsonava Maloy. She is recovering from her injuries and has been released from the hospital.
Allen County man arrested on felony and misdemeanor charges for actions during Jan. 6 Capitol Breach
The Department of Justice says 28-year-old Jonathan J. Copeland was arrested today in Shawnee Township. He was expected to make his initial appearance before the court in the Northern District of Ohio today. He faces accusations of assaulting, resisting or impeding law enforcement officers with a dangerous weapon, and interfering with a law enforcement officer during a civil disorder. Both are felony charges.

21-year-old Dalton Roessler is wanted on the charge of Stopping after an Accident on Public Roads or Highway. The charge is a third-degree felony. Police say 17-year-old Sierra Stewart was killed during the rollover crash on Spencerville road. Two other passengers were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Roessler fled after the crash, a K-9 search of the area turned up nothing. He is still on the run. Law enforcement believes alcohol is a factor in the crash.
