MERCER COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - Two people were arrested in Mercer County on drug-related charges.
According to Sheriff Jeff Grey, deputies were called out to 6310 State Route 117 in Rockford for a domestic disturbance complaint. While investigating the scene, they found suspected evidence of drug use. Deputies then secured the scene and applied for a search warrant.

Later that morning, the search warrant was executed, and during the search, deputies found several items of suspected drugs and paraphernalia. Preliminary tests were conducted and tested for methamphetamines.
The two people arrested were 39-year-old Barbara Davis and 50-year-old Douglas T. Frericks, both of Rockford, Ohio. They were arrested for possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. Both are currently in the Mercer County adult detention facility, and both are being held on no bond.

On Tuesday, December 17th, at 4:27 AM, deputies were called to 6310 ST RTE 117, Rockford, OH, for a complaint of a domestic disturbance. While conducting their investigation on scene, suspected drug evidence was discovered in plain view. Acting on this information, the deputies secured the scene until a search warrant could be applied for.
Deputies were assisted by Mercer County Prosecutor Erin Minor in applying for the search warrant, which was later reviewed and granted by Celina Municipal Court Judge Kathryn Speelman.
Deputies executed the search warrant at 7:25 AM. During the search of the residence, numerous items of suspected drugs and drug paraphernalia were collected and taken as evidence. Preliminary tests were completed and tested presumptive positive for methamphetamines. Arrested were Douglas T. Frericks (50) and Barbara A. Davis (39), both of Rockford, for possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. Frericks and Davis were transported to the Mercer County Adult Detention Facility, where they were booked in and are currently being held on no bond.
The case will be sent to the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office once completed for review.
