(WRIGHT STATE) — Lima Senior’s return to the state semifinals ended Saturday as Massillon Washington used a big fourth quarter to secure a 75-63 win at the Nutter Center.
The Spartans led 17-11 after the first quarter and stayed within a possession through much of the game, trailing by just one at halftime.
Willie Foster led Lima Senior with 14 points, while Elynn Stearns added 12 and Shawn Foster chipped in 11.
A 12-0 run by Massillon in the fourth quarter created separation as the Tigers pulled away late.
Lima Senior finishes its season 22-5, reaching the state semifinals for the first time since 2016.
