The Findlay Police Department is looking into a stabbing Wednesday morning at a hotel. Officers were called out to the Red Roof Inn at 1600 Fox Street in response to the report of a male victim bleeding. Investigators determined he had been stabbed several times. The victim told officers the suspect was a man he knew. He's still on the run after taking off before the officers got there.

Findlay Police say an officer-involved shooting occurred in the city during a foot pursuit by officers. Just before 6:30 Monday evening, Findlay Police were dispatched to Bernard Park on a report of 3 juveniles drinking alcoholic beverages. After officers arrived, a male juvenile suspect began to flee by foot, and an officer pursued him. During the chase, the juvenile fired a gunshot at the officer, and the officer returned fire hitting the male suspect.

Dukes was traveling southbound in the 300 block of Western Avenue when his Toyota Corolla crossed West Main Cross Street, went into the lane of oncoming traffic, and off the road striking the church. Dukes was then transported via HANCO to Blanchard Valley Hospital for medical treatment. He was also issued a citation for operation without reasonable control along with an additional criminal charge.

Three people were transported to the hospital after a head-on crash outside of Findlay this morning(12/18/19). The Hancock County Sheriff's Office says just after 9 o'clock Wednesday morning, 78-year-old Betty Burkholder of Bluffton was on W. Main Cross Street when she lost control of her vehicle and when left of center running into a vehicle driving by 79-year-old Melvin Micham of Sylvania. Burkholder and Micham had to be cut out of their vehicles, and both of them, plus a passenger in Mitcham's car were taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital with injuries. They cited Burkholder for failure to control her vehicle.

Findlay police are looking for a man who ran off Monday during a mental health screening at Blanchard Valley Hospital. Police are not releasing his name right now but Chamberlin Hill Elementary School was locked down around 1 p.m. on Monday while officers searched for the suspect. The man was undergoing a treatment plan in the emergency room at Blanchard Valley Hospital when he took off.
