FINDLAY, OH (WLIO) - The Findlay Police Department is looking into a stabbing Wednesday morning at a hotel.
Officers were called out to the Red Roof Inn at 1600 Fox Street in response to the report of a male victim bleeding. Investigators determined he had been stabbed several times. The victim told officers the suspect was a man he knew. He's still on the run after taking off before the officers got there.
The victim was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The case remains under investigation.
November 13, 2024, Press Release from the Findlay Police Department: At approximately 8:58 a.m., on November 13, 2024, officers from the Findlay Police Department were dispatched to the Red Roof Inn located at 1600 Fox St. in response to a report of a male victim bleeding. Upon arrival, officers determined that the male victim had sustained several non-life-threatening stab wounds.
The victim was reportedly attacked by a known male associate. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived. Officers are actively working to locate the suspect. The male victim was transported by Hanco EMS to Blanchard Valley Hospital for treatment.
