Their candlelight concerts will kick off the new year and will be held in two historic venues. This year, concertgoers will be treated to "Harp by Candlelight". The Lima Symphony is comprised of dozens of world-class musicians sharing their talents in Northwest Ohio. These concerts will showcase a fewer number of musicians with soloists performing some of classical music's best composures in the candle-filled venues.

A candlelight vigil held in downtown Lima Thursday night in remembrance of the victims of domestic violence. Candles were lit in front of cut outs, representing victims of domestic violence who lost their lives and their stories were read aloud. The event, now in its’ 27th year, is sponsored by the Crossroads Crisis Center.

The candles were the only thing lighting up St. John’s Church for Lima Symphony’s Annual “Mozart by Candlelight” concert. 

Every row of pews were filled from end to end at St. Johns tonight. Music echoed through the church as the Lima Symphony played the beautiful sounds of Mozart. This annual concert brings people back down to earth to listen to Mozart’s music the way it was meant to be performed.
