Lima Symphony Orchestra Presents "Mozart by Candlelight"

If you are looking to sit back, relax, and take a break from technology for just a moment, then you're in luck. The Lima Symphony Orchestra is presenting the works of Mozart as they were originally performed.

At the "Mozart by Candlelight" concert you can experience the brilliance of the composer surrounded by soft, glowing candlelight. Conductor Crafton Beck will lead the orchestra as they present Mozart at his brightest in two beautiful local churches. "It's just completely immersed in candlelight so its unlike most experiences that you would get. This music was originally performed in churches so it kind of takes you back to the original vibe of the music where you get an experience rather than just hearing it at a typical concert hall."

The first concert will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church in Lima on Saturday January 21st at 7:30 P.M. The second performance will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Ottoville, Sunday January 22nd at 4:00 P.M. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 dollars for students. They may be purchased at the door, the Lima Symphony office, or online at www.limasymphony.com.
