During the Celina Lake Festival, make sure to stop by Harbor Point State Park for a living history lesson. Reenactors for "Troops in Town" will be out Saturday and Sunday with historic vehicles, weapons, and more, ready to teach people of all ages anything they'd like to know about the life of a World War II soldier. You can walk through the troops' camps and talk to the men and women in uniform, and there will also be child-sized weapons and helmets for kids' photo ops. Reenactors hope the experience leaves everyone with a greater appreciation for what our veterans went through by seeing both their living conditions and realistic battles.

A big crowd shows up to wrap up another successful Celina Lake Festival. Sunday was kids’ day, and there were a lot of activities for them to enjoy.   Some tested their strength at the kiddie tractor pull or tried to reel in the big one at the fishing derby.   Kids also got up and personal with some big trucks or hit the rides for a little fun.   This is the 62nd year for the festival and the committee is glad to see people come back year after year to not only enjoy the everything on lakeshore drive, but in the rest of Celina too.

They are half car and half boat, and a whole lot of fun! This is the 20th year that the International Amphicar Owners Club has made their way to Celina to take part in the Lake Festival. Close to 50 Amphicars splash down as part of the festival this year. In 1999, the club was deciding between New York and Celina, Ohio to take their members. After picking the west side of Grand Lake St. Marys, they haven’t missed a year.
