CELINA, Ohio (WLIO) - The Celina Lake Festival promises to celebrate tradition, innovation, and milestones in 2025.
The Celina community is going all out this year, with exciting events scheduled every day of the week. Highlights include the 25th anniversary celebration of the amphicars and the much-anticipated return of the crowd-favorite water ski show. This year's festival will also feature brand-new rides for the kids. Other events include the cruise-in car show, fireworks over the lake, and a performance by ZZ Top tribute band ThunderBeard. Organizers say they're excited to bring people together again this year.
"Really, just how the community comes together - we we ask and task a lot of different businesses and people and organizations to help out throughout the whole week, and it's just funny how it all comes together at the right time, Friday, Saturday, Sunday," said Dylan Correll, a committee member.
"Just seeing the crowd, the people running into people you don't see often," said Kevin Pyle, also a committee member. "For me, that's sort of the homecoming - lot of class reunions are held on this weekend."
