A major water line break forced officials in Cridersville to shut off water service to the entire village while crews work to make repairs. Once service is restored, a boil water advisory will be issued for all residents until further notice.

Barbara Bonifas said the ride brought back fond memories. “Just kind of exhilarating and fun to be out there swinging around in the snow, snow flying in your face. And you know, it just reminds us, well, when we were kids, and we were over at Farout Park, going down the hill.”
“It was suggested that we reach out to Apollo’s construction trade class and see whether or not they’d be able to do it for us. And when we did, they were very excited about the opportunity, and we’re very, very grateful,” Myers said. “Our costs are minimal, just the actual fuel costs and the dumpster containers, so it allows us to have more money available for the expansion than for the demolition.”
