A Hardin County Grand Jury indicted Anthony Allen Browne, 50, on charges of aggravated murder, tampering with evidence, having weapons under disability, possession of criminal tools, and defacing identification marks of a firearm for the death of Richard Whitaker Junior in September of 2022.
A Lima man received his sentencing in Allen County Common Pleas Court. DeJuan Lucas was found guilty back in early September by a jury on charges of involuntary manslaughter and corrupting another with drugs, plus numerous drug trafficking and possession charges.

Prosecutors say that Gerdeman asked Kaelonda Peoples-Fuqua to get drugs for the party and she did from Lucas. The defense attorney says that Lucas admitted to selling drugs but did not sell the drugs that killed Gerdeman.
