Besides getting eggs full of candy, Glenn is hiding golden eggs, and those who find them will get the cost of starting a savings account covered at Superior Credit Union. He did this to help promote responsibility and financial literacy in children.

Students kindergarten through 4th grade were on the hunt for Easter eggs as 5,000 fun-filled eggs were donated by parents and community members. Each of the kids got 23 eggs, a prize, a coloring book, and an additional hand full of candy. Organizers say even with the cold and snowflakes, it was well worth it to see the youngsters so happy.

Lima councilman Derry Glenn is hosting the 10th annual Easter egg hunt this Sunday, March 28th. The event will run from one to two in the afternoon, encouraging families to hit up other Easter events that are planned around the area. Last year’s Easter egg hunt was canceled, and Glenn wasn’t sure if he was going to put it on this year. That was until the community stepped up.

Despite the cold and rainy weather the day before Easter, hundreds of kids showed up the at Spartan Stadium eager to find the chosen egg.

Close to a thousand kids attended Lima iHeart Radio's 2019 Easter Egg Hunt at the Spartan Stadium. This year there were over 20,000 candy-filled eggs, one of which had a family ticket to Walt Disney World.

Calling area children to be on your mark, get set, go! It's the biggest Easter egg hunt in the area with more than 20,000 prize filled eggs to be collected. iHeartRadio and Bruster's Car Wash are inviting families to come out and enjoy a morning of fun festivities. And while the hunt is for children 13 years and younger, there will be activities for the entire family.
