Children in the Lima City Summer Park Program enjoyed a day of bowling at 20th Century Lanes, where participants of all experience levels competed for strikes and spares. The group also celebrated with a pizza party before preparing for Thursday's fishing lesson and outing.

The Lima Community Aquatic Park is inviting families to cool off with a day of games and activities, including swimming relays, water gun games and a belly flop contest. The facility will also be open on the Fourth of July from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for holiday swimmers.

The Lima Family YMCA will host its Mother Son Super Hero Party on May 2, inviting families for a night of themed fun and bonding. The popular event is free for members and $10 for non-members, with registration encouraged due to high demand.
