LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - Get ready for a night out of family fun next week thanks to Lima Memorial Health System.
On Tuesday, August 5th, Lima Memorial will be teaming up with the City of Lima to put on the 2025 National Night Out event at Lincoln Park in Lima. The event will provide food and refreshments along with games and prizes and resources that can tell you more about the services Lima Memorial offers to the community.
The National Night Out event is popular all across the country and state, encouraging residents and families to take a night out on the town and build relationships within their community, which for Lima Memorial, is at the heart of what they do.
"Lima Memorial is hosting, in collaboration with several several other agencies, such as Lima City Police Department, Lima City Fire Department and the city of Lima and multiple other organizations, to get together and make our community just a little safer and a fun night for everyone," said Rick Sanchez, manager of safety & security for Lima Memorial. "It gives us the opportunity to build trust in our community. The community wants to come to come to a healthcare facility that they know they can trust, and that is there for their best interest. That's what we're hoping to gain, give them an opportunity to learn a little bit about us, as well as make sure that they see we're here for your best interest, and we want to make you healthy."
National Night Out will take place at Lincoln Park in Lima from 5 to 8 PM and is free and open to the public.
