CELINA, Ohio (WLIO)- The Mercer County Fair kicked off today in Celina, running now through Aug. 13.
As always, there will be rides, food, games and activities for the whole family.
This year's music headliner is country duo Big & Rich, performing at the grandstand on Friday night.
“We have lots of free entertainment and we have lots of events in the grandstand. We have two concerts ... tonight will be Journey From the Heart, and then tomorrow night, we will have Big & Rich here. That concert is almost sold out, so go get your tickets quick,” said Cara Muhlenkamp, executive director of the Mercer County Fair.
While you're at the fair, don't miss the 4-H and Junior Fair displays, where local students showcase years of hard work.
“I have actually been involved in Junior Fair since I was in kindergarten. I joined our Clover Bud program at Saint Henry Buckeye Lassies and Lads and then have just grown in it since. Recently, my senior year, I joined our Saint Henry FFA, so I was involved in two ways through our Junior Fair programs,” said 2025 Mercer County Fair Queen Emma Lochtefeld.
The fair continues through Aug. 13 with livestock shows, tractor pulls and entertainment for all ages. For tickets and the full schedule, visit mercercountyohiofair.com.
