A new community event, 419 Day, will bring live entertainment, vendors and artists to downtown Lima this Sunday. Organizers hope the event encourages residents to support local talent while enjoying time in the city’s core.
The Ohio Arts Council visited Lima to discuss various grants available for schools, individual artists and organizations.
ArtSpace/Lima is partnering with the Ohio Arts Council to bring grant opportunities directly to the community.
“With this being our sixth year, really, when the idea of Legacy Arts Street Party came to be, we wanted to put on a free family event that brought quality entertainment, great artists and a really good event for the whole family,” said Kayla Zehery, director of Legacy Arts.
ArtWalk, a family-friendly free event taking place quarterly, will take place this Summer on Friday, August 1.
