LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — ArtSpace/Lima is inviting the community to the opening of its 74th annual Spring Show, showcasing a wide range of artwork from local and regional artists.

More than 50 artists from the Lima region and beyond submitted entries for the juried exhibition, with 150 pieces selected for display across four galleries. The show features a variety of mediums, including paintings, drawings, ceramics and glass art.

The opening reception is scheduled for Saturday, May 2nd from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., giving attendees the opportunity to view the collection and meet many of the participating artists.

Executive Director Sally Windle said the event highlights both community connections and artistic diversity.

“The show involves not only a lot of great artwork, but involves a lot of people, because there are local artists that are practicing that put their work in here, and then we have some new artists that are from different states. So it's a good way to see your friends meet the artists, but it's also a good way to see some high quality work that really is interesting, no matter what your favorite medium is,” said Windle.

The exhibition will remain on display through June 6 during regular ArtSpace hours.
