A Lima man was sentenced to 15 years to life in prison after an Allen County jury found him guilty in the April stabbing death of another man.
An Allen County jury convicted Marcus Tyson of murder and related charges for the April stabbing death of Anthony Townsend following a dispute at Townsend’s home.
A jury has been seated in the trial of a Lima man facing murder charges.
The trial for Lima resident Marcus Tyson, accused of fatally stabbing Anthony Townsend in April, is scheduled to begin Nov. 7.
Marcus Tyson, 45, was indicted by an Allen County Grand Jury on charges of murder, felonious assault, and tampering with evidence for the murder of Anthony Townsend on April 18.
Marcus Tyson, 45, is being held on a $1 million bond for the murder of Anthony Townsend on April 18. He had a probable cause hearing Wednesday in Lima Municipal Court.
Marcus Tyson, 45, returned to Allen County Tuesday afternoon and is facing charges for the April 18th death of Anthony Townsend, 47. The Lima Police say he could be brought back to Allen County in the next couple of days to face charges.
