LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) – The trial of a Lima man charged with murder is still set to begin on Nov. 7.
Marcus Tyson, 45, is facing charges of murder, felonious assault, and tampering with evidence in connection with the death of Anthony Townsend on April 18, 2025.
Law enforcement officials say Tyson and Townsend were arguing at Townsend’s home when Tyson allegedly stabbed him in the abdomen. Townsend was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Tyson was later arrested in Adams County, Indiana. He remains in jail on a $1 million bond.
