The art club at Continental High School is quite literally painting the town in preparation for the weekend. Friday kicks off the 20th annual Fall Festival for the village of Continental, and every year the art students come down to Main Street to paint the unique mural for the event. This year, over 20 students in the art club were out as early as 8 a.m. starting on the mural. The mural depicts the theme of fall but also encapsulates the village. This year the big red tractor and basket of apples say it all, recognizing the agriculture and farmers that make up so much of Continental. The art students always look forward to the fall festival mural because it's schoolwork that doesn't feel like work.
