CONTINENTAL, OH (WLIO) - It is officially becoming fall and that means that the Continental Fall Festival will soon be here!
The high school's art club is making sure that one tradition, the fall fest mural, is ready before the thousands of people show up this weekend. The students got the day out of school to break out their paintbrushes to create this year's mural. The students designed the project and decided to incorporate some new and some existing fall elements in the project. The art club is happy to contribute something special to the village's annual festival.
"I think it's pretty cool actually," says senior Mya Bishop. "To see people go up and comment on it, it's nice."
"I love fall fest," says senior Reese Knowles. "I mean it is always changing. It is really good, it really brings the community together, we can help out other families. Like this year we are doing fundraisers for one of our previous students. It is just good to see people come together for fall fest."
If you would like to check out the student's hard work in person, the fall festival starts this Friday night and runs all weekend in downtown Continental.
