The “new” Ohio Theatre will not only offer food, drinks, and entertainment but it will be a visual experience as well. Details are being made to bring the building back to its heyday when it opened in 1928. A mural by local artist Mike Huffman will take you back to a time of Jazz and gin with this period piece that use to be common.

Artist Mike Huffman adds, “Radio City Music Hall which is around this vintage Stuart Davis did murals in the men’s lounge and Georgia O’Keeffe did murals in the women’s lounge. So, this is a tradition that’s kind of cool out there.”

A section of the original wall stenciling is being restored as a piece of art as well. Everywhere you look in the theatre attention to period details is evident.
