The Allen East Robotics Team gave a sneak peek of their inventions Monday evening. Allen East 5th through 9th grade students involved with the robotics team displayed their robotic creations to board and family members as they prepare for their national competition in April.

During the workshop, students were able to take their curriculum outside of the classroom and gain insight into the world of engineering.

The school is just one of 22 schools across the country to win the "Career choices silver medal" as they continue to be dedicated to student success.

The restaurant is run by the students as they learn the fundamentals of the food industry with hands-on real work experience. The students say it is an experience that exceeds their expectations.
