LIMA, OH (WLIO) - Young students looking to gain experience in marketing and entrepreneurship learned more about the members that will lead them towards that goal.
Lima Senior High School's DECA program connects students with valuable experience in their chosen fields of marketing, audio engineering, and more. A meeting was held in order to appoint new officers for the organization, as well as welcome new members, and brief them on what they can do as a part of the group.
"So we go to competitions at both local, state, national level, all of that and we get to do real competitions that involve you know entrepreneurship, business, and marketing and it lets us really learn a lot about that because a lot of kids here are looking to go into that as a career field and it's a great, great way for us to learn about that, it gives us real life interview skills and so much more," explained Keegan Halliday, DECA president.
Breakfast was provided by Lima Senior's culinary students.
