LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — The Lima City Schools Board of Education is inviting community members to an open forum to provide input on the search for a new superintendent.
The board is seeking feedback on the characteristics, skills, and experience that should be considered in the selection process.
The meeting is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 24, at South Science and Technology Magnet School, starting at 6:30 p.m.

Current Superintendent Jill Ackerman, who has served in the role since 2013, announced in January that she will retire effective Aug. 1.
Community input is encouraged to help guide the board’s decision-making as it moves forward with the search process.
